I’m an experienced supply chain and logistics practitioner with a background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience managing large operational teams. My consulting work spans digital solutions, particularly SAP ERP, and business management. I “grew up” in the aftersales and logistics environments of major OEMs like Caterpillar, Mitsubishi Power, and MAN Truck and Bus.
Working on four continents has broadened my perspective and expertise. While I specialize in supply chain, I consider myself a generalist with strategic, tactical, and operational interests. I’m drawn to unique projects where the answers aren’t always clear, and I actively seek out these types of challenges.
Facts
- Married and haves two young adult children. Lives happily in their little place in Delft
- Is South African, a fervent supporter of the Springbok rugby team (four-time World Champions!) and isn't scared of a good “braai"
- Enjoys traveling, hiking, golf, padel, going to the gym, and keeps tropical fish
- Haves a 18-month-old Siberian Husky that keeps him on his toes
- Is currently studying for an online MBA, which he likes to call his “brain gym.”
