"Mastering Flow"

For many years now, I am deeply fascinated about the world of transport and logistics. My academic journey at TU Delft led me through a Bachelor's in Technology, Policy, and Management, followed by a Master's in Transport, Infrastructure, and Logistics, with specializations in traffic operations and logistic engineering. One of the highlights of my academic pursuit was my graduation project at the Port of Rotterdam. There, I tackled the complex challenge of aligning Maasvlakte container terminals and the hinterland. I developed an algorithm-based control method for time slot management, a solution aimed at reducing waiting times for arriving trucks at container terminals.

Before joining Districon, I gained valuable experience in the sustainable mobility department at Royal HaskoningDHV for several years. My work focused on traffic modelling, traffic management, and smart mobility, with many projects for the Port of Rotterdam. Motivated by a passion for optimizing processes, operations and supply chains, I made the move to Districon, bringing my knowledge of mobility networks with me. I enjoy working in a data-driven manner, combining theoretical insights with practical applications in projects. Moreover, I'm broadly interested and like to work on a variety of subjects, covering areas from urban logistics to ports, logistics flows, networks, supply chains, warehouses, operations, and production processes.
